# Savings

Savings pays rewards on USDT, USDC and USDCx that you move from your Canborsa wallet into a pool.

### In short <a href="#in-short" id="in-short"></a>

* **You earn a rate on the amount in the pool.** Each pool has a base APR and may add a bonus APR for a limited time after your first deposit. Rewards are paid to your wallet in the token you deposited.
* **You can ask for your funds back at any time.** They return to your wallet after the pool's withdrawal time. The requested amount stops earning the moment your request is accepted.
* **The rate is not guaranteed.** The base APR falls when total deposits in a pool pass its rate threshold, a bonus ends on a fixed date, and Canborsa can change a pool's settings.
* **Savings is not a bank deposit.** Canborsa uses deposited funds for liquidity management, and no deposit insurance covers them. You can lose part or all of your funds if Canborsa cannot meet its obligations.
* **The binding rules are in the terms.** Read Terms and Risks before you deposit.

### How it works <a href="#how-it-works" id="how-it-works"></a>

A deposit moves through five steps, and you control the first and the fourth.

1. **Deposit.** Choose a pool and move USDT, USDC or USDCx from your Canborsa wallet into it. The amount leaves your available balance and starts earning when the deposit completes.
2. **Earn.** Rewards build up every second on your earning balance at the pool's current APR.
3. **Get paid.** On the pool's payout schedule, Canborsa credits the rewards to your wallet in the token you deposited. Paid rewards are not added to the pool automatically.
4. **Request a withdrawal.** Ask for any part of your earning balance back. That amount stops earning at once and becomes a pending withdrawal.
5. **Receive your funds.** When the withdrawal time ends, Canborsa credits the amount to your wallet. You can close the page; the withdrawal continues without you.

While funds are in a pool or pending withdrawal, you cannot trade them, use them as collateral or send them out of Canborsa.

### How Canborsa uses your funds <a href="#how-canborsa-uses-your-funds" id="how-canborsa-uses-your-funds"></a>

Canborsa uses deposited funds for liquidity management: to settle user trades and withdrawals and to fund hedging positions on external trading venues.

* **Where rewards come from.** Canborsa pays rewards from its own revenue, at the rate set for the pool. Rewards are not a share of trading profit.
* **Who bears trading losses.** Canborsa does not pass its trading losses on to depositors. It owes you the full amount you hold in the pool.
* **What backs that obligation.** Canborsa's own financial position. No insurance or third party guarantees your funds.

### Pool settings <a href="#pool-settings" id="pool-settings"></a>

Every pool has its own values for the settings below, and the pool page shows the current ones. The last column gives the first pool, Stablecoin Earn, as of 12 October 2026.

| Setting | What it means | Stablecoin Earn |

| Pool capacity | Maximum total deposits the pool accepts | $300,000 |
| Your deposit limit | Maximum one account can hold in the pool; Canborsa may set an individual limit | $25,000 |
| Minimum amount | Smallest deposit or withdrawal; amounts take up to two decimal places | 0.01 |
| Reward payout schedule | How often rewards are paid to your wallet | Every 1 day |
| Withdrawal time | Waiting period between an accepted withdrawal request and the funds reaching your wallet | 1 day |
| Pool start and end | Period in which the pool pays rewards | Started 6 October 2026, no end date |
| Fees | Charges for deposits, withdrawals and reward payouts | None |

### How rewards work <a href="#how-rewards-work" id="how-rewards-work"></a>

Your reward for any period is your earning balance, times the APR, times the share of the year that has passed.

```latex
\text{reward} = \text{earning balance} \times (\text{base APR} + \text{bonus APR}) \times \frac{\text{seconds earning}}{31\,536\,000}
```

#### Base APR <a href="#base-apr" id="base-apr"></a>

* **Up to the rate threshold.** While total deposits in the pool are at or below the threshold, everyone earns the pool's stated base APR.
* **Above the threshold.** The base APR falls in proportion to total deposits: the stated rate, times the rate threshold, divided by total deposits. Each new deposit lowers the rate for all depositors, and each withdrawal raises it again.

Base APR in Stablecoin Earn at four pool sizes:

| Total deposits | Base APR |
| -------------------- | -------- |
| $100,000 | 10.00% |
| $250,000 (threshold) | 10.00% |
| $275,000 | 9.09% |
| $300,000 (capacity) | 8.33% |

#### Bonus APR <a href="#bonus-apr" id="bonus-apr"></a>

* **Start.** The bonus starts when your first deposit completes while the pool offers a bonus. Its rate and duration are fixed at that moment, and later changes to the pool's offer do not affect it.
* **Coverage.** The bonus applies to your whole earning balance in that pool until it expires, including deposits you add later.
* **No pause.** The bonus period keeps running even if your balance is zero.

#### Calculation and payout <a href="#calculation-and-payout" id="calculation-and-payout"></a>

* **APR, not APY.** Rates are simple annual rates. They do not assume that you reinvest rewards. The APR on the pool page is the base APR plus the bonus APR you have or can still get.
* **Earning time.** Funds earn from the moment a deposit completes until a withdrawal request is accepted or the pool ends.
* **Payout.** Rewards are paid to your wallet on the pool's payout schedule, in the token you deposited. To earn on paid rewards, deposit them yourself.
* **Rounding.** Each payout is rounded down to four decimal places of the token. The remainder is not carried over, so a balance that earns less than 0.0001 of a token in a payout period receives nothing for it.
* **Estimates.** Accrued rewards shows what you have earned since the last payout, before rounding. Estimated daily rewards shows what the amount you are entering would earn at the APR expected after your deposit. The final amount is calculated at payout.
* **Late payouts.** If a payout is delayed, Canborsa pays it later for the same period and in the same amount.

Example: 1,000 USDC earning 10% base APR and 10% bonus APR receives 0.5479 USDC per day. After the bonus ends it receives 0.2739 USDC per day.

### Deposits and withdrawals <a href="#deposits-and-withdrawals" id="deposits-and-withdrawals"></a>

A deposit completes within seconds. A withdrawal completes after the pool's withdrawal time.

#### Deposits <a href="#deposits" id="deposits"></a>

* **When you can deposit.** A pool accepts deposits while its status is Deposits open. The other statuses are Not started, Pool full, Pool ended and Deposits paused.
* **How much you can deposit.** A deposit must fit your wallet balance, your deposit limit and the pool's free capacity. For limits, one token counts as one US dollar.
* **Pending withdrawals count.** An amount waiting to be withdrawn still takes up your deposit limit and pool capacity until it reaches your wallet.
* **When earning starts.** A deposit earns from the moment it completes. If Canborsa cannot confirm a deposit at once, it shows as Deposit processing and then completes or fails on its own. A failed deposit leaves the funds in your wallet.
* **Several tokens.** You can hold more than one accepted token in a pool. Each token earns and is withdrawn separately, and Canborsa does not convert one into another.

#### Withdrawals <a href="#withdrawals" id="withdrawals"></a>

* **When you can withdraw.** You can request all or part of your earning balance at any time, including while deposits are paused or the pool is full.
* **Rewards stop at once.** The requested amount stops earning when the request is accepted. It earns nothing during the waiting period.
* **No cancellation.** An accepted request cannot be cancelled. To earn again, make a new deposit after the funds return, if the pool is open and has room.
* **Fixed waiting period.** The waiting period runs from the moment the request is accepted. A later change to the pool's withdrawal time applies only to new requests.
* **Completion.** Canborsa credits the funds after the waiting period ends and the payment is processed. The withdrawal is complete when the funds are in your wallet.

Example: in a pool with a withdrawal time of 1 day, a request accepted on 14 October at 08:00 UTC is paid from 15 October at 08:00 UTC.

#### Pauses and pool end <a href="#pauses-and-pool-end" id="pauses-and-pool-end"></a>

* **Deposits paused.** A pause stops new deposits only. Existing balances keep earning and can be withdrawn.
* **Pool ended.** Rewards stop at the pool's end time, and the last payout covers the period up to it.
* **Funds after the end.** Canborsa does not return funds automatically. They stay in the pool without earning until you withdraw them, and the withdrawal is paid without a waiting period.

### What Canborsa can change <a href="#what-canborsa-can-change" id="what-canborsa-can-change"></a>

Canborsa can change any setting of a running pool, without advance notice. A change does not reduce rewards you have already earned.

| Pool setting | Limit on the change | Effect on funds already in the pool |
| ---------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Base APR, rate threshold, payout schedule, accepted tokens | None | The new values apply from the change. Rewards earned before it are not reduced, and funds already in the pool can be withdrawn. |
| Pool capacity | Not below the amount already in the pool | None |
| Per-account deposit limit | None | A balance above a lowered limit stays and keeps earning. New deposits are blocked. |
| Withdrawal time | None | Applies only to requests made after the change |
| Bonus offer | None | A bonus that has started keeps its rate and end date |
| Deposit pause | None | Balances keep earning and can be withdrawn |
| Pool end date | A future date only | Rewards stop at the end date. Withdrawals are then paid without waiting. |

### Risks in brief <a href="#risks-in-brief" id="risks-in-brief"></a>

You can lose part or all of the funds you place in Savings. The full risk disclosure is in Terms and Risks.

* **Canborsa itself.** Canborsa uses your funds and owes them back to you. If it becomes insolvent or suffers large losses, it may return them late, in part or not at all.
* **External venues.** Part of Canborsa's liquidity sits on third-party exchanges, custodians and blockchains, and a failure there can reduce what Canborsa is able to return.
* **Waiting for a withdrawal.** Funds are locked for the withdrawal time and earn nothing while they wait. The stated time is not a guaranteed maximum.
* **The rate.** Canborsa can change a pool's rate. The base APR also falls when the pool grows past its threshold, the bonus ends, and a pool can end.
* **The stablecoin.** USDT, USDC and USDCx can lose their value against the US dollar. Canborsa returns the number of tokens you deposited, whatever they are worth.
* **No safety net.** Savings is not a bank deposit, and no deposit insurance or third-party guarantee covers it.

### FAQ <a href="#faq" id="faq"></a>

* **Can I lose money in Savings?** Yes. Canborsa owes you the full amount, but nothing outside Canborsa guarantees it.
* **How fast can I get my funds back?** After the pool's withdrawal time, which is 1 day in Stablecoin Earn. The time counts from the moment your request is accepted.
* **Do my funds earn while I wait for a withdrawal?** No. The requested amount stops earning when the request is accepted.
* **Can I cancel a withdrawal request?** No. Deposit again after the funds return.
* **Why did the APR drop?** Total deposits in the pool passed the rate threshold, your bonus ended, or Canborsa changed the pool's settings.
* **Are rewards compounded?** No. Rewards are paid to your wallet. Deposit them again to earn on them.
* **Why is a payout slightly lower than the estimate?** The APR moves with total deposits, and each payout is rounded down to four decimal places.
* **What happens when a pool ends?** Rewards stop. Your funds stay in the pool until you withdraw them, and that withdrawal has no waiting period.
* **Are there fees?** No. Canborsa charges nothing for deposits, withdrawals or reward payouts.
