# Referral system

The Canborsa referral system allows users to grow the ecosystem and earn a share of the platform activity generated by the users they invite - permanently, not just for a limited campaign period.

### **How it works** 

Every user gets a personal referral link. When someone signs up through your link and becomes active on the platform, you begin earning a percentage of the points generated by their valid activity.

A referral becomes active when the invited user:

1. Connects their wallet
2. Completes a qualifying trade

**Referral structure**

| Level                      | Share                     |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------- |
| Level 1 (direct referrals) | 10% of their valid points |
| Level 2 (their referrals)  | 3% of their valid points  |
| Level 3 (third degree)     | 1% of their valid points  |

You also receive **200 points (in Canborsa Points Program)** when each referral you invite becomes activated.

**Important rules**

* Referral rewards are only credited after the qualifying action is completed
* Only valid, non-abusive activity counts toward referral points
* Self-referrals are detected and excluded
* Referral points are earned in addition to your own Direct Points

> The referral system is designed to reward users who bring genuinely active traders into the ecosystem, not just signups.
