# Perpetuals

Perpetuals are one of the defining products of Canborsa. The platform enables users to trade perpetual contracts on both crypto and tokenized real-world assets, all from a single non-custodial interface.

### **What are perpetual contracts?**

Perpetual contracts are derivative instruments that allow traders to gain leveraged exposure to an asset without owning it directly and without an expiration date. Traders can go long (betting the price goes up) or short (betting it goes down), with leverage amplifying both potential gains and potential losses.

### **How to open a position**

1. Navigate to Perpetual in the platform interface
2. Choose an asset
3. Select direction: Long or Short
4. Set your leverage, up to 30x
5. Enter your margin amount
6. Set Take Profit and Stop Loss levels (optional but recommended)
7. Confirm the position

### **Available markets**

* **US stocks:** Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, SpaceX, Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, AMD, Circle
* **Asian tech:** Alibaba, TSMC, ChangXin Memory, DRAM index
